- Is the quote free?
- Yes. I come and look at the job at no cost and with no obligation, and give you a fixed price in writing. You only pay if you decide to hire me.
- Why do you give prices 'from'?
- Every job is different: it depends on the state of the walls, the paint you choose and the surface area. That's why I give a rough guideline first and then a fixed price once I've seen it.
- Are you cheaper than a painting company?
- Usually yes: you deal directly with me, with no sales reps, no middlemen and no offices. That saving goes into your quote, not into overheads.
- How is the price of painting a flat worked out?
- By the square metres of wall and ceiling to be painted, not by the floor area of the flat. An 80 m² flat can have 200 to 260 m² of surface to paint. I'll make it all clear in the quote.
