Kitchen & Bathroom Painting on the Costa Blanca
The kitchen and bathroom are the areas that take the most damp and steam. I paint them with special products so they hold up, mould stays away and they're easy to wipe clean.

What the service includes
Anti-mould paint
Washable products that resist the damp and steam of kitchens and bathrooms.
I treat the damp
If there's mould or staining, I make good and treat the area before painting.
Full protection
I cover units, worktop, sanitaryware and tiles, and clean up when done.
In kitchens and bathrooms any old paint won't do: the steam, splashes and temperature changes mean ordinary paint gets marked or grows mould in no time. I use washable, anti-mould paints made for damp areas, that stand up to cleaning and keep their colour. If there are already mould stains, I treat them before painting so they don't come back.
I protect worktops, units, sanitaryware and tiles, paint the corners and joints carefully, and leave everything clean when I'm done. It's one of the cheapest makeovers that changes these rooms the most.
FAQ
- Can you paint over the tiles?
- Yes, with a special tile primer and a suitable enamel you can paint kitchen and bathroom tiling. I'll tell you whether it's worth it in your case compared with other options.
- What paint do you use so mould doesn't appear?
- Washable anti-mould paints made for damp areas. If there's already mould, I first make good and treat the wall; painting over it untreated doesn't solve the problem.
- How long does it take to paint a kitchen or bathroom?
- A normal kitchen or bathroom is usually ready in a day or two depending on the condition and whether damp needs treating. I confirm the timescale in the quote.
